You know how 92.7% of the time when you see a pic of yourself you wish something was different (hair, weight, smile, angle, your whole life, LOL!)? When I saw this pic of myself that Gypsy Sister Tricia, Vintage Bliss took, my first thought was: "That's ME. In my element. In front of my gypsy Airstream. Wearing ripped denims and the leather fringe jacket I designed. Perched on my crumbly peely Louis. Smack dab in the middle of it." (Then, of course, I went after the bangs, chin challenge, and why do my feet look so huge....LOL!)
About this time last year we officially closed our bricks and mortar shop and hit the road with our own wholesale designs. At times it HAS felt like jumping off a cliff ala Thelma and Louise. But at moments like this, when life is captured in the perfect light; when everything feels right to the bone, you realize: THIS is why I keep choosing the unknown over safe certainty. This is what LIVING MY life is about.
I say the next time your life is captured in the perfect light, soak it up, breath it in, roll around in it! There will be plenty of time to ponder why you thought you looked younger without eyeliner, or just who was that crafty salesgirl who talked you into believing you still look fabulous in short shorts...
See you down the road!

Artist in Residence-ArtWalk Thursday

Howdy Y'all!!! As you can tell we have been working hard lately since our little bloggety-blog has been asleep for awhile! We have been putting together some A-mazing collections for you at the store and they have been flying out the door- let's just say the Fur has been flying! We are having our first Artist In Residence Show this Thursday for the Scottsdale ArtWalk. Paris Montana is pleased to have Bobby Boyd Designs come and show some of their new jewelry and artwork made from salvaged 100 year old ceiling tin tile. You know we are all about repurposing and the eclectic and Bobby's designs fit perfect. We first met Bobby Boyd on our travels to RoundTop, TX where we vend at the Zapp Hall show. Bobby's creations have been a part of the CMA(Country Music Awards) Music Row Live events this past month, and he has been hooked up with GAC(Great American Country) music channel. In the last couple of months he added a line of jewelry created by Tricia Samsal of Vintage Bliss, together the jewelry has taken off! We are over the top excited to have them bring their creations to Paris Montana this Thursday only from 5-9. Come and see what all the fuss is about!
